CH (CPT) Tra’Vorus Weaver serves as a Staff Chaplain at the 104th Fighter Wing, Barnes Air National Guard Base, Westfield MA. He supports more than 1,100 assigned military personnel and their families, ensuring their diverse relgious needs are met and align with the execution of the unit’s Federal and State missions.  He supports the strategic ministry plan by working with the Religious Affairs Specialist to provide pastoral care and support to airmen during predeployment and postdeployment phases.  He directly engages and supports all married and single unit personal during yellow ribbon programs, and facilites group instruction on the Five Love Languages. He is married with 4 children.

Chaplain Weaver first entered the Air Force in 2018 as a direct commissioned officer.  He is a graduate of Liberty Theological Seminary, Lynchburg, Va.  Prior to his current position, the chaplain served as a pastor and church planter with the North American Mission Board.  He has experience working in health care settings in both pastoral care, and clinical support. His experience includes serving in mental health at Pinnacle Pointe Hospital, West Oaks Hospital, and Arbour Hospital.  He has extensive experience working with youth as a pastor and volunteer chaplain providing ministry in the urban context through mentorship, life support, teaching, and counseling.  During his collegiate studies, he completed an internship at Eglin Air Force Base (AFB), Fl base chapel. He graduated from Officer Training School at Maxell Air Force Base, Florida in July 2019. He currently ministers at Emmaus City Church as a resident pastor in Worcester, MA.

Chaplain Weaver was ordained as a minister in 2010 by the Evangelical Church Alliance and received his ecclesiastical endorsement in 2018.  Chaplain Weaver was commissioned as a 1st Lieutenant in May 2018.
