Moral Injury

This personalized theory course discusses the dynamics of moral injury relating to the conscience, looking at underlying issues of theology and consciousness. Students will use examples from their own clinical contexts to explore spiritual care theory and interventions related to moral injury, ultimately culminating in the student’s ability to articulate, both verbally and in writing, a theory of spiritual care for clients dealing with moral injury.
