Chaplain (MAJ) Lance Sellon

Lance Sellon is the Full-Time Support Chaplain for the Florida Army National Guard where he coordinates day-to-day and contingency chaplain support for Soldiers, Airmen, civilians and their families. He has also served as both a brigade and battalion chaplain with which he has multiple deployments including Ukraine, Afghanistan, the Horn of Africa, and Florida's COVID-19 Response Operations. Lance's 32 years of ongoing National Guard service include prior enlisted and commissioned service. He formerly served as a local church pastor and ministry area specialist for over 20 years with the United Methodist Church in OK, FL, and NC. He earned his MDiv from Asbury Theological Seminary in Orlando, FL. He and Katherine live in Jacksonville, FL with their 10-yr old son, Gabe (who is petitioning to expand the family with our first dog, more to follow).
