Chaplain (CPT) Matthew J Costner

Dr. Matthew Costner is a Teaching Pastor at Choctaw Road Baptist Church in Choctaw, Oklahoma, the Executive Director of Free life Ministries, an online biblical counseling firm in Black Mountain, NC, and a Chaplain in the Missouri National Guard. He has been married to his wife, Alyson Costner for twelve years. They have five children, Maxwell (11), Ellery (9), Lois (6), and twins Beau and Eden (4).

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Gardner-Webb University, a Master of Divinity from Vanderbilt University, and a Doctor of Ministry from Biola University and Talbot Theological Seminary in Growing and Multiplying Churches in the USA. He has experienced CPE from a long term care facility (Huntersville Oaks in Charlotte, NC), a veterans hospital (VA in Nashville, TN), and as a year long resident in trauma care (Baptist Hospital in Nashville, TN).
