Chaplain (Capt) Wand Martin is the full-time battalion chaplain at the Warrior Training Battalion, Fort Moore, GA., he is the M-Day battalion chaplain at the 711th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, Mobile, AL. His daily duties consist of advisement to command leadership providing counsel to Soldiers and families, maintaining readiness through coordinating team building training event. Wand has served in the Alabama Army National Guard for 15 years. Eleven years which he served as a Religious Affairs Non-Commissioned Officer. He assessed as a chaplain December 2020. He is an ordained minister with 28 years of ministerial and pastoral experience.
He currently serves as the associate pastor of the Gospel Service Fort Moore, GA. He has a B.S. in Heath Administration from the University of Phoenix, Master of Divinity, Luther Rice College & Seminary, Lithonia, GA. He is married to his lovely wife Johnenne of 27 years they have one daughter, JaKayla who is a sophomore in college.
